1. How can I figure out the MAC address of my server machine?
Open a command window prompt on windows and enter: 
ipconfig /all
This will display information about your network configuration.
Search for the line that contains:
Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-17-08-34-5E-45
The XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX number on the right will be your server's MAC address.
2. More than one MAC address shows on my server machine, which one shall I use?
Any MAC address on the server machine will do.
3. I already have an evaluation version installed on my server machine, how can I get an activation code to activate the full-version?
  1. Proceed in purchasing a Lessons Learned Server copy for your platform, you will receive an email with instructions.
  2. Follow the instructions to obtain the License Key based on your server's MAC Address.
  3. Login to the Administration Interface of Lessons Learned Server.
  4. Select License Manager from the main menu.
  5. Click the Add a Purchase License button to enter your purchased license info.
  6. Fill in the your License Name, License Code, MAC Address and the number of profiles you purchased.
  7. Click the Add This License button to activate.
4. How does the evaluation differ from the fully-activated?
Running Lessons Learned Server in evaluation is similar to the fully-activated mode with the following limitations:
  1. A maximum of 10 Users.
  2. A maximum of 7 Information Profiles.
  3. A maximum of 50 Information Items Per Profile.
  4. A maximum of 50 Comments Per Profile.
